Hello! I’m Kenneth Gardner, and I’m here to talk to you about myrrh essential oil by Young Living Essential Oils. Myrrh essential oil is steam-distilled from the resin of the myrrh tree, and the resin is obtained by making cuts in the tree, which is a science all by itself. That is also how frankincense is produced. The frankincense tree and the myrrh are quite ugly, but they produce something beautiful, the essential oils. The smell is beautiful. Just by smelling myrrh essential oil, you will benefit emotionally and health-wise because it is uplifting, it promotes spiritual awareness, and helps the glands in the brain that have to do with memory and emotions as well as the master glands for the vital hormones, including thyroid hormone and growth hormone. You could inhale it by diffusing it in one of the Young Living diffusers, or you could breathe it in from the palms of your hands. You will also be breathing it in when you apply it to various parts of your body. Ladies (and men), for skin care, myrrh essential oil is going to be your best friend. Many essential oils help with skin care and skin health. It would be good to use a natural product that is non-toxic and will actually benefit your health than to use skin care products with chemicals. Just look at the list of ingredients. In my book, any man-made chemical is potentially toxic, even if they don’t know it is yet, so I stay way from chemicals. Myrrh essential oil is at the top of the list of essential oils that are great for the skin. Myrrh is good for cracked or chapped skin, wrinkles, stretch marks, and cracked or chapped lips. Myrrh essential oil is anti-tumoral, so it is good for sun-damaged skin. Myrrh essential oil is a thick, resinous oil, so, for beauty purposes, it would be good to apply it at night before you go to bed rather than before going out to face the world. Myrrh essential oil is good for fungal infections. It can help with yeast / candida, ringworm and other fungal infections of the skin, and toenail fungus. The thickness of the oil will help it stick to the toenail to help the toenail fungus. Myrrh essential oil is great for eczema, so you can try it on eczema. It is also great for tooth and gum infections like gingivitis and mouth ulcers. You can apply it inside your mouth since Young Living essential oils are therapeutic grade. Like with all other essential oils, you can always apply it to the bottoms of your feet. By doing that with myrrh essential oil, it will benefit your whole body since it travels throughout your body so that you will also receive other benefits that I haven’t already discussed: it is antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-parasitic, and analgesic. Myrrh essential oil is in several amazing Young Living essential oil blends, namely, Abundance, Egyptian Gold, Exodus II, Gratitude, and Humility (which also have frankincense), as well as Hope and White Angelica.
